Biology 101 (Evolution and Natural Selection). This course covers topics seen in a first year college or high school biology course.
This course serves as a revision guide for high school biology or human and sociobiology students. The content presented is primarily based on the CXC syllabus valid as of 2015. However, the content is also suitable for students studying for the GCSE Biology or similar 'O' level exams.
This is a comprehensive biology course that touches on almost everything students need to understand for the exam. Over 90% of the content is presented in short videos (10 minutes or less) that briefly explain concepts. Additional content comes in the form of notes that can be downloaded from the Resources section. These notes are intended to enhance the student's understanding of the concepts. Students are expected to repeat material according to their own plan for at least 60 minutes per week in order to optimally prepare for the exam. In addition to watching videos and reading additional notes, students are expected to complete all quizzes. A practice exam has also been added to test your knowledge throughout the course.
